Supervision is crucial in order to provide safe and ethical therapeutic interventions with clients. Supervision can be beneficial when you are feeling stuck in how to proceed in the work with a client as well as creating a space to explore yourself as a therapist. CAMFT and CRPO require therapists to participate in supervision or practices to explore Safe Effective Use of Self.
I am an approved supervisor with CAMFT and CRPO. I have completed the required CAMFT Fundamentals of Supervision course. I have experience in supervising psychotherapists and social workers in their work with individuals, couples, and families in private practice and agency settings.
I am currently the Manager of Clinical Supervision for the Couple and Family Therapy program at the University of Guelph where I teach and supervise students in the program.
If you have any questions and/or are interested in participating in clinical supervision with me, please contact me and we can discuss next steps.
