Clinical

Supervision

Supervision is crucial in order to provide safe and ethical therapeutic interventions with clients. Supervision can be beneficial when you are feeling stuck in how to proceed in the work with a client as well as creating a space to explore yourself as a therapist. CACFT and CRPO require therapists to participate in supervision or practices to explore Safe Effective Use of Self.

I am an approved supervisor with CACFT and CRPO. I have completed the required CACFT Fundamentals of Supervision course. I have experience in supervising psychotherapists and social workers in their work with individuals, couples, and families in private practice and agency settings.

I am currently the Manager of Clinical Supervision for the Relational and Psychotherapy Training Program (formerly the Couple and Family Therapy program) at the University of Guelph where I teach and supervise Masters students in the program.

If you have any questions and/or are interested in participating in clinical supervision with me, please contact me and we can discuss next steps.
